14066 - Senior Java Software Engineer (onsite) – Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays and Tuesdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Required:
• Availability to work 2 days per week at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java (8+ years);
• Experience in applications development on J2EE platform (8+ years);
• Experience in writing SQL for relational databases (8+ years);
• Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform (8+ years);
• Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security (8+ years);
• Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development (8+ years);

Preferred:
• Experience with Angular UI Framework (4+ years);
• Experience with Crystal Reports (4+ years);
• Experience with PowerBI (4+ years)

Responsibilities:
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Investigate problem areas.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Make updates to the SCOR Java application, including changes to business logic, user interface, reporting capabilities, and the system data model.
• Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode.
• Support applications in multiple environments with coding, testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures
