14014 - Business Analyst (onsite) – Austin, TX

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 3 days remote with 2 days (Tuesdays and Fridays) required to be onsite at the client’s location.

Required:
• Availability to work 2 days per week at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs (4+ years);
• Experience working in an Agile environment (4+ years).

Preferred:
• Experience and knowledge of processes as well as Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems (2+ years);
• Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment (2+ years).

Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs;
• Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies;
• Identify new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective;
• Prepare solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc;
• Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs;
• Provide project oversight of Medicaid IT-Contracted Systems efforts and integrated projects.
Support and provide oversight of documentation and delivery of application enhancements;
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile or SAFe environment to ensure business requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and translated into actionable user stories and deliverables.
