14006 – Project Manager (onsite) – Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 10+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid, the position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Thurs & Fri) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
Required: • Availability to work 2 day per week (Thurs & Fri) at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required); • Skilled in managing project with implementations across large organizations. Experience should include developing and managing project plans, documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans (10+ years); • Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems (10+ years); • Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process (10+ years); • Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholder. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills. (10+ years); • Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates and conduct regular project team meetings (10+ years); • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment (10+ years); • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (10+ years); • Agile methodology, overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments align with project timelines (8+ years) • Agile Experience - Managing the project with feature driven sprints (8+ years)
Preferred: • Experience implementing and using agile methodologies and best practices for 1 or more State of Texas Agencies (5+ years); • Prior experience in healthcare or Public Health (5+ years); • PMP Certification
Responsibilities: • Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of assigned projects. • Facilitate meetings for the Invoice Tracking System replacement project. • Manage project milestones and deliverables. • Manage change requests. • Manage risks and issues. • Track project budget. • Manage project scope to ensure the project is completed on time and under budget.
