14005 – Enterprise Cloud Architect (hybrid) – Austin, TX

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid. Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays) required to be onsite

Required:
• Experience architecting enterprise application solutions across on-premises and cloud infrastructure (10+ years)
• Experience architecting solutions in one or more of the cloud platforms: GCP, and AWS (10+ years)
• Experience developing cloud native application architectures across leading cloud platforms (8+ years)
• Experience architecting solutions that utilize fit-for-purpose service models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (8+ years)
• Experience in all phases of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning solutions using AWS or google technologies (8+ years)
Preferred:
• Experience with virtual networks, VPNs, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls (8+ years)
• Experience with cloud security frameworks, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, etc. (8+ years)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation (8+ years)
• Experience with API design, development, and management, including RESTful and SOAP APIs (8+ years)
• Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud-native application development (8+ years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate cloud strategies and solutions to stakeholders (8+ years)
• Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services. Examples are Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services or AWS SageMaker, Redshift, EC2, Data Pipeline, Kinesis, EMR, Transcribe or Google Cloud Vertex AI, Agent Builder and other AI/ML services (8+ years)
• Cloud Certification eg: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Design and maintain enterprise‑level architectures that align with organizational strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Architect cloud‑native and hybrid solutions using Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, applying fit‑for‑purpose service models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, identify components suitable for cloud migration, and develop detailed migration strategies including timelines, resource planning, and risk considerations.
• Implement and validate cloud migration processes to ensure data integrity, operational continuity, and adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
• Lead technical collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable architectural designs, decision artifacts, and technical documentation.
• Provide expert guidance on AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and generative AI initiatives, mapping appropriate cloud services and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Analyze AI/ML services and emerging technologies to extract technical and business insights that inform reference architectures, runbooks, governance models, and training content.
