13965 – AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer (onsite) – Little Rock, AR

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Onsite for first 2 weeks. Optional remote after first 2 weeks for exceptionally qualified applicants.
Required:
• Availability to work onsite in Little Rock, AR for the first 2 weeks (required);
• Experience with hands-on migrating/implementing significant applications on AWS Cloud platforms (4 years);
• Experience with AWS web environment design and build, including AWS services like EC2, ELB, Systems Manager, FSX, SES, SNS and S3 (4 years);
• Experience with AWS security solutions such as WAF, Network Firewall, Security Group, Tagging, Network ACL's, Routing Tables, Gateway Load Balancer (4 years);
• Experience with Internet Gateway, AWS Guard, SecurityHub and GuardDuty (4 years);
• Experience with high volume, mission critical applications and their interdependencies with other applications and databases (4 years)
• Experience with Infrastructure to Code scripting using CDK in Typescript, Cloud Formation, and AMI (4 years);
• Experience with monitoring, maintenance, and support of the infrastructure within AWS environments (4 years);
• Experience with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch and CloudTrail (2 years);
• Experience with configuring CrowdStrike and Tenable (2 years);
• Experience with AWS network-level logging configuration and management (4 years);
• Experience with configuration and maintenance of AWS dashboards (4 years);
• Experience with all facets of IT Networking, DB Systems, Security, DevOps, Backup, DR and modern development methodologies (4 years);
• Experience with designing and implementing common shared services across enterprise applications (4 years)
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server System Administrator (4 years)
Preferred:
• Experience with GenTax architecture and application maintenance
• Experience with industry security standards and best practices (PUB1075, FIPS, CIS, NIST, PII)
• AWS Solutions Architect certification
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for the public cloud platform, and debug and optimize systems and automate routine tasks.
• Plan, design, and implement workload migrations from on premises to AWS Cloud.
• Configure, monitor and assist with the maintenance and support of the infrastructure environment within the AWS environment.
• Configure, tune, and maintain AWS services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Systems Manager, Network Firewall, WAF, Security Group, Tagging, Network ACL's and Routing Tables.
• Setup and maintain Gateway Load Balancer and Transit Gateway.
• Setup and maintain backup solutions using AWS native services, including EC2 instances, FSX Servers, various S3 storage types, AMI, and Infrastructure as Code scripts using CDK in Typescript.
• Setup and maintain security using tools like AWS Guard, AWS OU, IAM, CrowdStrike, and Tenable.
