17954 Required: • Availability to travel required within North America; • Experience in the development, design, engineering, and construction of High Voltage Transmission line projects (7 years); • Experience in transmission design (1-3 years); • Experience understanding one line and three-line diagrams, general arrangements, plan and profiles and other common deliverables; • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
17954 Preferred: • Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for action; • Experience with industry tools such as PLSCADD, Auto-CAD, Primavera and other software; • PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline.
Responsibilities: • Provide A+ technical support to the Project Engineering teams while maintaining the schedule and budget of assigned projects. • Use in depth Transmission line knowledge, teamwork, and engineering judgement to respond to project Requests for Information. • Develop, interpret, and implement Transmission line standards. • Lead and mentor Project Engineers to better understand technical requirements. • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement. • Actively engage in team meetings and projects where communication and a team-oriented mindset are critical. • Assert accurate responses within project timeframes.
