13943 - Technical Advisor (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site at Tallahassee, Florida. No telecommuting or remote work.
Required:
• Availability to work at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with IT within one or more specialty areas (7+ years);
• Experience with information systems, networking theory, and architecture standards in areas of expertise;
• Experience with managing large-scale service deliveries, particularly in government or public-sector IT environments (10+ years);
• Experience within corrections, law enforcement, or public safety domains;
• Experience in a technical advisory or service delivery management role;
• Experience with technical governance and industry best practices;
• Experience with working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
• Must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.
Preferred:
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library [ITIL], Project Management Professional [PMP], etc.).
Responsibilities:
• Oversees the delivery of technical services to ensure they meet the required standards and client expectations;
• Leads and manages a team of technical analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship;
• Establishes and maintains governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices;
• Conducts thorough technical analysis to identify issues, opportunities, and solutions;
• Presents technical recommendations and decisions to senior management and stakeholders for approval;
• Collaborates with service providers to ensure their technical solutions align with the agency's business strategy and architecture;
• Troubleshoots performance issues and resolves problems with service providers.
