Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Candidate must be available to perform services during the normal
business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday (flexible schedules and
remote work locations must be approved by Client)
Required:
• Experience with IT (7+ years);
• Experience with process engineering (4+ years);
• Experience with project management (2+ years);
• Experience with ERP solutions/systems;
• Experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger module;
• Experience with financial reporting
Preferred:
• Experience performing activities directly related to PeopleSoft GL module solutions including development of trees and configuration of cost allocations (5+ years);
• Experience working with the State or with other state governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.
• Experience with data mapping and conversion.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technologies, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Work with all Project stakeholders, including but not limited to, the Project Director, Deputy Project Director, Project Architects, and Project team members, as requested.
• Work with the SSI Vendor and other state policy groups to solve complex issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Take day-to-day direction from the Contract Manager and delegate and work with Project team members to support all activities related to the Florida PALM Project implementation efforts and Production Support activities.
• Use and share lessons learned and best practices associated with PeopleSoft ERP implementations that may promote efficiency and help to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Serve as a PeopleSoft ERP subject matter expert, providing Solution recommendations and helping to resolve complex challenges.
• Assist the State with its responsibilities as described by Resource type below.
• Assisting with configuration of various general ledger values, trees, and so forth.
• Assisting with the implementation of the financial reporting solution to ensure the State is able to accurately and timely develop the Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR).
