13789 – Systems Administrator (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: The candidate must reside in Tallahassee, or the surrounding area, and report in office 5 days a week.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Professional experience in information systems engineering or a related field (5-8 years);
• Experience with: Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 (2–3 years);
• IIS Administration experience (2–3 years);
• Experience in network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS, Samba/CIFS file sharing, and NTFS permissions (2–3 years);
• Experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration (3–5 years);
• Experience with AWS cloud systems (2–3 years);
Preferred:
• Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (3–5 years);
• Experience in the administration of Microsoft software (2–3 years);
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud systems (2–3 years);
• Experience with other cloud providers, such as GCP (2–3 years);
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines
• Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties
• Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades.
• Monitor systems and applications to ensure security, availability, and performance;
• Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Maintains network and systems performance by performing systems monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting systems and application problems; escalating problems to vendor.
• Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
