Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator (onsite)

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with IAM systems, including Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Identity Manager, or other IAM solutions (3+ years);
• Experience with managing roles, user permissions, and access across various applications and environments;
• Experience in monitoring system health, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting access issues;
• Experience with security technologies such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and the principles of least privilege;
• Experience with compliance standards and how access management integrates with compliance reporting and auditing processes;
• Must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.

Preferred:
• Experience with using request management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow preferred);
• Experience with security best practices, compliance regulations, and potential threats to user identities.

Responsibilities:
• Manage user accounts including onboarding, offboarding, and changes to user access across various systems and applications;
• Configure and maintain access control tools, defining and assigning user roles according to job functions and security standards;
• Create and maintain user-specific dashboards with relevant metrics and visualizations;
• Perform technical troubleshooting, providing ongoing user support for provisioning and access management issues;
• Perform reporting and auditing, running user access reports and preparing audit trails;
• Collaborate with the Information Security team to implement security procedures and integrate with other agency IT systems;
• Provide group and individual training on identity management processes to end users.
