Business Planning Manager (onsite)

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments (7+ years);
• Experience managing team(s) responsible in strategic planning, infrastructure and/or operational support functions within professional environment in public sector technology organizations;
• Experiences with business process tools and how they were deployed for a successful outcome.
• Experience with transportation technology operations.
• Experience with relational database theories and concepts.
• Experience in testing complex applications and interpreting whether requirements and designs were met in the product.
• Experience with Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power BI.
• Experience working on complex technology solutions.
• Experience with project management practices and agile methodologies.
• Experience with Rules 60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.

Preferred:
Experience in performing QA reviews and providing valuable feedback in determining that standards are met and that documents are complete and comprehensive.
• Experience with accounting concepts.
Experience in data conversion techniques, data cleansing approaches and validating data relationships.
• Scrum Master certification

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Identify business goals and IT strategies, translating them into detailed requirements and documentation.
• Perform gap analysis between current and future technology needs and recommend improvements to align with business goals.
• Prioritize and coordinate the integration of new and existing technologies based on strategic direction.
• Assist in redesigning and documenting business processes, using best practices and automated tools.
• Act as a strategic interface between business units and IT for planning, risk management, and service alignment.
• Collaborate with system support staff to assess systems and document feasibility studies, business cases, and product evaluations.
• Lead planning sessions and synthesize complex data into executive-level reports and recommendations.
