13714 – Lead .Net Developer (hybrid) – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration:12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid (100% remote work is authorized for resources that do not reside within the Tallahassee area. Selected candidate would be required to be onsite to onboard for a short period. The Department does not cover expenses (travel, food, etc.) related to onsite onboarding. Resources that reside within the Tallahassee area must work in the office – Monday through Friday)
Required: • Experience working with development technologies including Microsoft.NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/WebAPI, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Durandal, Knockout, etc.), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, Python, GIS Frameworks, and CSS (8+ years); • Experience as a lead developer (5+ years)
Preferred: • Experience with Scrum, SAFe, DAD, or other agile approach
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Working as a senior developer on various cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented • Collaborating with other team members and Subject Matter Experts to ensure solutions are implemented according to customer requirements • Taking responsibility for full lifecycle application development • Ensuring code is written to implement the architecture and design such that it meets standards in terms of code quality and efficiency • Fully unit testing all solutions prior to User Acceptance Testing and implementation • Initiating, driving and delivering effective experiences in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the architectural vision are communicated, supported and delivered to the highest standards; aligning core.NET based platform development initiatives with Department development vision, strategy and deployment • Developing and applying knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies and methodologies.
