Enterprise Architect (onsite)

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the Client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Boca Raton, FL (required);
• Experience in multiple IT areas (7-10 years);
• Relevant architecture experience in tolling, Intelligent Transportation Systems, or transit architecture (2–3 years);

• Experience with Oracle, Postgres, SQL, OBIEE, Java, JIRA, Siebel CRM;
• Experience in database management;
• Extensive experience with architecture, applications systems design, and integration.

Preferred:

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development with expertise in advanced features like packages, cursors, triggers, and collections;
• Experience with data modeling, normalization, and optimization techniques;
• Experience with SQL query writing and performance tuning;
code review and code analyzing skills including reviewing Test results;
• Azure or any other cloud experience;
• Government experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy and update the enterprise’s architecture to effectively support the business strategy;
• Develop enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features;
• Use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers;
• Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business;
• Determine specifications, then plan, design, and develop complex and business-critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes individually or in concert with the project team;
• Develop programming and development standards, procedures, and programming architectures for code reuse;
• Possess in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs. Understand and consistently apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies etc.
