IT Project Manager (100% onsite) - Tallahassee, FL

Estimated Duration: 5 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: (100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work.)
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
• Project Management Professional certification (PMP);
• Experience managing successful, large-scale projects with multiple diverse teams (5+ years);
• Experience in change management methodologies, strategies, and implementation (5+ years);
• Experience utilizing project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira) to track and maintain projects (5+ years);
• Experience in project management methodologies and documentation (PMO) (5+ years);
• Experience in risk and issue management (5+ years);
• Experience in facilitating meetings and developing clear documentation (5+ years).
Preferred:
• Experience with Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci).
• Experience with a certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project Management.
• Experience with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations certification.
• Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base.
• Experience managing projects and knowledge of Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.
• Experience managing vendor projects and working with programming teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and manage resource-loaded and leveled projects.
• Provide hands-on leadership for complex projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Facilitate joint application development (JAD) sessions and gather business requirements.
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes as part of business analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage project spending plans and allocate resources accordingly.
• Track project expenses and ensure alignment with the allocated budget.
