12418 – Solar Project Engineer (remote, some travel) – Juno Beach, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: hybrid, required to be in Juno for training during the first 1-2 weeks and once a month thereafter for the duration of the contract OR remote option.
Requirements:
• Availability to travel to the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Advanced early career experience or relevant experience (6+ years)
• Engineering and project management experience on utility scale solar projects (preferred), or DG/commercial solar projects, or other technologies in the power industry: wind, BESS, combined cycle, nuclear, hydrogen, substation, transmission, etc.;
• Experience outside of the power industry (aerospace, civil/stormwater, etc);
• Experience managing either internal or external engineering resources on projects;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required (e.g. civil, electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc.)
Responsibilities:
• Oversee third-party contractors to deliver engineering designs for solar projects.
• Manage project engineering from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across environmental, procurement, and transmission services teams.
• Support project managers in both early-stage planning and construction phases.
• Facilitate collaboration among engineering teams to achieve project goals.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment among all project stakeholders.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and reporting throughout project lifecycle.
