12357 – Operational Auditor, Risk, Advisory & Assurance (hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite) – Miami, FL

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full-time direct employment with Vitaver Staffing Client
Work Setting: Hybrid, travel up to 25% includes visits to other offices and shipboard visits. Presence in the Miami office is mandatory (2-3 times a week). 

Requirements:

• Availability to work 2-3 times a week at the client’s site in Miami, FL and travel up to 25% to other offices and shipboard visits;
• Auditing experience in a Big 4, management consulting firm, or large/complex internal audit department (excluding internship) (3-5 years);
• Experience with Risk Advisory & Assurance Services (RAAS);
• Experience with SOX;
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.


Preferred:
• CPA or CIA (or in progress);
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop the planning and scoping for simple to moderately complex reviews to ensure appropriate audit coverage;
• Assist in the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance program, by performing walkthroughs and testing of the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting;
• Identify issues/opportunities to improve operations and the related root cause and impact;
• Adhere to the RAAS departmental policies and procedures, including ensuring consistency and completeness of working paper documentation and compliance with IIA standards;
• Support the data-driven assurance program by reviewing results and using judgment to determine potential control breakdowns and opportunities for continuous improvement;
• Develop an effective working relationship with management to ensure RAAS is viewed as a partner for managing risk;
• Lead meetings and present to management on issues/opportunities identified;
• Less than 25% shipboard travel likely.
