12306 – Systems Analyst (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with implementing Health Care Systems (2 years);
• Experience with the Department's HMS system, other clinic management, or electronic health record software (2 years);
• Experience writing, developing user and system requirements (2 years);
• Experience with Agile software development, project management and testing practices;
• Experience in analysis, testing and flowcharting and unified modeling (3 years);
• Experience using SQL (3 years);
• Experience with formal software testing (3 years);
• Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting (3 years)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop user requirement documents, design documents and screen presentations based on user requirements, user input and feedback as directed by the Department;
• Provide research and analytical services for defects, enhancements and systems as they emerge, as required as directed by the Department;
• Meet with the program offices to collect user requirements and facilitate the development of Requirements documentation for defects, and enhancements to the HMS system as directed by the Department;
• Facilitate development using object-oriented design methodology and design using the Unified Modeling Language and or Flow Charts as directed by the Department;
• Develop test cases and scripts to test the application and provide support, software testing, and quality assurance to ensure that the application meets requirements, per the user requirements as directed by the Department;
• Provide work estimates, communication and updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning and Daily Scrum, daily in the time indicated on the work tickets assigned by the Department, to implement system feature enhancements or additions and bug fixes;
• Document and follow Office of IT processes and ensure compliance with Department Standards as directed by the Department.
