13594 – Biomedical Technician (onsite) – Fort Lauderdale, FL

Type: Temp-to-Hire
Estimated Duration: 6 months with possible conversion to direct hire.
Work Setting: 100% on Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Required:
•Availability to work 100 % at the Client’s site in Fort Lauderdale, FL (required);
• Experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or a related field (1-3 years)
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in diagnostic tools and software.
• Experience with safety standards and medical regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Preferred:
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or equivalent.
• Relevant OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certifications.
Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning medical devices.
• Install and configure new biomedical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards (e.g., FDA, OSHA, TJC).
• Provide technical assistance to healthcare staff regarding the operation of medical devices.
• Track inventory of biomedical devices and parts.
• Work with vendors and manufacturers for technical support and warranty repairs.
